Basis of contract
The present contract is based on the "Swiss Engineers Asssociation (SIA) Regulations regarding the Services and Fees of Civil engineers".

Fees calculation
The detailed estimates of the Contract fees are listed in the tables below.

The Final time based fees will be calculated on the basis of:
- the Final time count;
- the General time estimate;

Fee adjustments
Every year the Swiss Engineers Association publishes a scale of fees on which fee calculations are based. Its application to the present Contract is agreed as follows: fees to be updated and reviewed annually according to SIA rates.
Expenses
Expenses are to be payed back as follows: travel, accomodation and meals.

Compensation of travelling time
If the fees are calculated as a percentage of the amount of the system, travelling time will be paid as follows: by time rate, according to time rate fees above.
Power of representation
The Engineer is authorised to personnally place orders for work and supplies up to a total value of ... CHF per order. The principal must be informed as quickly as possible.
Time scale
The engineering of the mission will follow the timescale below:
Professional domicile, apllicable law and juridiction
The professional domicile of the Engineer is: 15, rue du Diorama, CH-1204 Geneva.
The applicable law is that of the professional domicile of the Engineer.
Any dispute arising from the present Contract will be dealt with by:
- the Ordinary Court;
- a Court of Arbitration, according to SIA Directive No 150 (Enclosure 6).

Professional public liability insurance
The Engineer has public liability insurance as follows: Companies Public Liability;
Insurance Company: Helvetia Insurances.
Special provisions
As downpayment of 30% of the grand total of fees is to be paid at the signature of the Contract for the Mission to start, another 30% of the fees is to be paid on receipt of the first Periodic report and the balance of the fees is to be paid on receipt of the Final statement of the Mission.
